基于《大学英语课程教学要求》和现代教育理念，笔者在2008级非普通班进行了课程设置调整的教学实验，尝试将二学年的语言技能课程压缩至一学年，使学生能够在第二学年进行选修课程学习。实验数据表明，本次课程设置调整很好地激发并保持了实验组学生的学习兴趣、学习成就感和一定的自主学习能力，更好地体现了人文素养与语言技能并重的大学英语课程原则。
基于《大學英語課程教學要求》和現代教育理唸，筆者在2008級非普通班進行瞭課程設置調整的教學實驗，嘗試將二學年的語言技能課程壓縮至一學年，使學生能夠在第二學年進行選脩課程學習。實驗數據錶明，本次課程設置調整很好地激髮併保持瞭實驗組學生的學習興趣、學習成就感和一定的自主學習能力，更好地體現瞭人文素養與語言技能併重的大學英語課程原則。

The authors attempt to integrate the 2-year basic skill-oriented language course of College English with optional courses by condensing language and skill learning tasks into the first year and offering optional courses in the second. The data collected about this adjustment and the experiement with the ordinary-English-proficiency students of Grade 2008 indicate that this integration has well stimulated students＇ interest in learning the course, their sense of learning achievement and autonomy within the experiment group, suggesting that equal priority should be given to beth language skill training and humanity cultivation in College English course designing.
