通过对十种口语程度较高的北京话材料进行历时的考察和分析,可以确定北京话中表达与事范畴相与关系和指涉关系的介词＂跟＂是在清中叶以后产生的,连词＂跟＂则在清代晚期逐步产生。＂跟＂的相关用法一经产生,即成为北京话中的强势介词和连词。＂跟＂、＂和＂、＂同＂、＂与＂的区别主要体现在三个方面：产生和使用的年代不同,语法功能不同,使用地域不同。

Based on a diachronic description on ten popular books recording the vernacular speech of Peking,we confirmed preposition ＂gen＂ in Peking Dialect which express reception and denotation relations appeared in mid-Qing dynasty,and conjunction ＂gen＂ appeared in late-Qing.＂Gen＂ is very powerful in Peking Dialect.We make a comparison of ＂gen＂,＂yu＂,＂he＂,＂tong＂,and points out the difference among them,such as dates of production is different,grammatical function is different,and the use of region is also different.
