文章利用2003～2008年间45个东道国和地区的面板数据,建立跨国动态面板模型,运用系统GMM估计方法来分析母国与东道国之间的制度距离对我国外向FDI的影响。研究结果发现：我国与东道国之间的制度距离对我国外向FDI有阻碍作用。在各制度距离变量中,影响最大的是产权保护距离、贸易自由度距离和财政自由度距离。在此基础上,文章就如何能使我国企业更好地＂走出去＂提出了相应的政策建议。

The influence of institutional distance between China and host countries on China＇s outward FDI is analyzed in this paper through the systematic GMM method.Using the panel data covering 45 countries or regions during the years from 2003 to 2008,the empirical results indicate that institutional distance could be detrimental for China＇s outward FDI.Among all these institutional distance variables,Pro-D,Tra-D and Fis-D are those which have significantly negative effects on China＇s outward FDI.Based on the above findings,it presents some policy suggestions accordingly.
