民族文化生态是指民族文化各要素之间以及民族文化与其所处民族生境之间的制衡关系，这种制衡存在是维护民族稳态延续的根本动力。民族文化生态应包含区域性、系统性、动态性和脆弱性等特征。少数民族在其历史进程中，在不断地应对民族生境时，构建了特有的民族文化生态，要建设好民族文化生态保护区，必须准确认知少数民族文化生态特征，这样民族文化生态保护区建设工作，才具有针对性和实效性。
民族文化生態是指民族文化各要素之間以及民族文化與其所處民族生境之間的製衡關繫，這種製衡存在是維護民族穩態延續的根本動力。民族文化生態應包含區域性、繫統性、動態性和脆弱性等特徵。少數民族在其歷史進程中，在不斷地應對民族生境時，構建瞭特有的民族文化生態，要建設好民族文化生態保護區，必鬚準確認知少數民族文化生態特徵，這樣民族文化生態保護區建設工作，纔具有針對性和實效性。
민족문화생태시지민족문화각요소지간이급민족문화여기소처민족생경지간적제형관계，저충제형존재시유호민족은태연속적근본동력。민족문화생태응포함구역성、계통성、동태성화취약성등특정。소수민족재기역사진정중，재불단지응대민족생경시，구건료특유적민족문화생태，요건설호민족문화생태보호구，필수준학인지소수민족문화생태특정，저양민족문화생태보호구건설공작，재구유침대성화실효성。
Ethnic cultural ecology indicates the balanced relations between various factors of the ethnic culture as well as those between the ethnic culture and the survival environment of the ethnic communities. The existence of such relations is the basic propulsion to maintain the stability of the ethnic society. In fact, ethnic cultural ecology should possess such features as regionality, systematicness, dynamics and vulnerability. During the historical evolution, the ethnic groups have to continuously cope with different survival conditions when constructing their unique cultural ecology. To establish the conservation for ethnic cultural ecology, it is necessary to identify exactly its features, and only in this way can the establishment be accomplished precisely and effectively.
