中国是一个多民族国家,历史上更是多个少数民族建立过王朝的国家。民族杂居地区少数民族语言在历史时期对地名的形成有深刻的影响。分析了民族语言形成的地名对历史地理研究的价值,表述了其在历史研究和地名工作中的意义,并希望在今后的地名文化研究中能得到进一步的重视。

china is a multi-ethnic country,and in ancient times,it was a country in which many ethnic groups established their own dynasties.In areas where people of different ethnic groups lived together,ethnic languages had profound influence on geographical names in history.In this paper,the author illustrated the value of ethnic languages research on historic and geographical names,analyzed its significance for historic research and geographical name research and future orientation,hoping it will be further emphasized in future geographical cultural research.
