四川省凉山州盐源县在历史上曾经有三个民族在这儿发挥过深远的影响,最早是藏族、接着是漠西蒙古和硕特部,最后才是彝族。这一特殊的历史过程使得今天在这里所看到的文化生态特点既有别于凉山腹地,又与藏区不同。但从今天调查到的当代彝族生计着眼,却可以清晰地看到彝族文化对这里的特异生态环境作出了成功的适应。其社会生产效益和生态维护成效,都比大小凉山彝族地区更能彰显文化再适应的针对性和灵活性。

From the historical perspective,Yanyuan County of Liangshan Prefecture in Sichuan Province was under the strong influence of ethnic groups,the first was the Tibetan group,the second was the Mongolian and finally the Yi.This special history has made the cultural and ecological features of this area different from the interior Liangshan and the Tibetan region.The investigation of the livelihood of the Yi people here shows that the Yi＇s cultural adaptation to the special ecosystem is successful and its achievements in terms of economic production and ecological protection reveal their better flexibility and efficiency than those of the Liangshan Yi area.
