国家软实力目益受到越来越多的国家的重视。党的十七大也提出要提高国家文化软实力。政党软实力建设在国家软实力建设中起着不可替代的作用，是国家软实力建设的前提，也足提高国家软实力的迫切要求。当前，我国提高政党软实力有着良好的基础与传统。提高政党软实力除了要加强自身建设外，还要注重提高政党文化软实力，要提升多党合作的内涵与深度，要加强政党外交来展示政党形象。
