随着“世界性文化”的日益凸显，在人文科学领域，“跨文化比较”研究方法逐渐显示出其现代意义。该学科帮助本国、本民族、本地域克服文化自我中心主义、强化对并质文化的相互理解、沟通，进而对自己民族文化给予正确反恩。在该学术视野下，对于蒙古族传统自在文化与欧洲若干具有游牧文化基因的民族文化类型做跨文化比较，将有助于我们揭示东西方游牧文化差异性与民族文化人格的不同历史走向。客观而科学地认知本民族特征是超越民族虚妄或自卑的前提，而民族特征的认知必须是在民族比较和文化比较的基础上通过深入和科学研究得出的，真正的民族尊严也是建立在对自身文化清醒认知基础上的。

Along with formation of ＂world culture＂, research method of crosscultural comparisons has vitalized its modem significance in fields of humane studies. The subjects help a certain nation, ethnic group, or region to overcome its cultural centrism and to strengthen understanding of other cultures, and moreover to introspect its own culture profoundly. To compare Mongolian traditional culture - in - self and European cultures with nomadic cultural genes in the academic perspectives would help us to reveal differences between nomadic cultures in East and West, and historical reasons for formation of those traditions. To cognize own culture objectively and scientifically is a prerequisite to transcend national/ethnic feelings of superiority and inferiority. Good cognition of cultural characteristics should be realized on the base of profound comparisons among various cultures and nations/ethnic groups. And national/ethnic feelings of cultural dignity are established on clear understandings of the good cognitions.
