在我国教练员水平有限以及CBA联赛水平低迷的情况下,个别俱乐部率先采取了引进高水平篮球外籍教练的惊人举措。这是继引进外援之后,篮球联赛推出的又一项重大改革。引进高水平的外教在社会上引起了巨大的反响,也得到了社会和政府的大力支持,因为它本身就是一种优秀人才引进的手段和渠道。外教的引进使CBA联赛耳目一新。有文章说这是＂洋为中用,与时俱进,开拓创新＂,是＂一箭双雕＂的英明之举。从现实意义看,外籍教练的引进可以打破CBA那种尘俗、老套、僵化的局面,增加比赛的精彩程度,调动球员的积极性。从长远意义看,可＂借他山之石,攻己之玉＂。笔者认为这是非常有必要的,并且认为引进高水平外籍教练是我国CBA在未来发展过程中的必经之路。

Because of the lack of capability of the Chinese basketball coaches and the low level of CBA, a number of the clubs have primarily introduced some of the high - level basketball coaches which seem to set the world on fire. And also this is another great reform which presented by CBA after the introduction of foreign basketball players. The introduction of foreign high - level basketball coaches itself is a channel and method of attracting excellent professionals, so this action gave rise to positive responses and received big support from the government and the society. As a result, the CBA games became fresh and innovative because of the introduction. According to an article which thought the introduction as a wise step and called it as killing two birds with one stone ; in reality, the introcuction can break up the old - fashioned, out - of - date situations of CBA games and makes the games more interesting, hence improve the involvement of the players; in the long run, we can learn from others and therefore improve ourselves. The author of this paper believes that it is necessary to introduce high - level coaches and it is the only way to a bright future of CBA.
