科学完整的经济政策制定与执行过程离不开政府经济政策评估活动。政府经济政策评估有助于预防和纠正政策制定偏差、明确经济政策的可行性程度、提高政策执行绩效等,是政府管理科学化、民主化的保证,是构建良好公共关系的需要,是市场经济发展的必然要求。政府经济政策评估的方法有定性与定量评估方法、过程评估方法和前后对比法等方法。要改进政府经济政策评估需要完善政府经济政策评估的标准,建立科学正确的经济政策评估程序,完善法律、法规,出台专门性的法律和制度,建立专业的评估组织和部门等。
