国外关于学前教育的经济效益研究显示：普及学前教育的经济效益远远大于投资传统经济方案的效益，学前教育具有很高的经济回报率，是最值得投资的教育时段；学前教育能够带来较大经济效益是因为学前教育能提高儿童后续学业质量、提升劳动力素养、降低犯罪率、节约政府开支和促进妇女就业等。

The research shows that the economic development benefits of universal preschool education are considerably larger in magnitude than the benefits of investment in traditional economic development programs. Preschool education with a high economic repay is the most worthwhile education period for investing, because preschool education can improve children＇s academic quality in later education, increase quality of labor force, reduce crime rates, save government spending, promote women＇s employment and so on. This will enlighten us that government should improve the comprehensive national strength, promote the strategy of the social economic development and pay great attention to preschool education.
