水文化是中国古代文化的重要表现形式。在中国古诗词中,水文化意象的翻译必须传递其负载的深厚文化内容与审美情致。从这个角度来看,中国古诗词中水文化意象的翻译应结合文化翻译的目的以及古诗词本身的审美特征综合进行。通过对水文化意象文化内涵的分析,从技巧层面深入探讨中国古诗词中水文化意象的翻译能够推动中国古诗词中文化意象的翻译研究。

Cultural images in the classical Chinese poetry translation are the focus of the relevant research in this field.The cultural elements involved in the cultural image of water are one of the cherishing representations of Chinese classical culture,thus calling for its functional translation of both the cultural and aesthetic elements.From this perspective,the translation of the cultural image of water should be in accordance with the purpose of cultural translation and the aesthetic features highlighted in the classical Chinese poetry.The translation strategies of the cultural image of water based on its three main categories of cultural implications will be elaborated.
