为了适应新时代对大学生英语水平的新要求,越来越多的高等院校开始逐渐实行并推广大学英语自主教学模式。该模式在一定程度上体现了认知法在第二语言教学实践中运用。本文旨在将教学理论与教学实践相结合,通过探讨认知法在大学英语自主教学模式中的具体运用,来促进对该方法理论的深入研究,同时考察大学英语自主教学模式的优势与不足,从而进一步完善大学英语教学。

With the development of reform-open policy and social economy,the students are required to have high ability to use English.In order to meet the new requirement of new times,more and more universities and colleges have carried out a new approach of teaching English-studying English by students themselves.This way of teaching English reflects the usage of cognitive approach to some extent.In this thesis which combines theory with practice,the study of teaching theory will be stimulated and the advantages and disadvantages of studying by students themselves will be studied by exploring the real operation of cognitive approach in English teaching.As a result,the way of English teaching in university will be improved.
