党的实事求是的思想路线是马克思主义与中国实际相结合的产物。在坚持和发展这一思想路线的伟大征途中，陈云作为党第一、第二代领导核心的主要成员，其主要贡献是系统提出了坚持实事求是必须遵循的方法论原则。他明确指出：要坚持实事求是。必须做到一切从实际出发，理论联系实际，不唯上，不唯书，只唯实；必须通过交换，比较．反复．集思广益，把握事物的本质和解决问题的关键，统筹兼顾，避免片面性。

The Party＇s ideological line, seeking truth from facts, is considered as the combination of Philosophy of Marxism and the specific situation in China. In the way of seeking truth from facts, Chen Yun has made a great contribution in systematically proposing the principles and methodology of following a realistic and pragmatic approach. The most important point of Chen Yenls methodology is that with the purpose of persisting seeking truth from facts, we must ensure proceeding from reality, by which it means that everything should be based on facts rather than the superior or the books; by means of exchanging, comparing and repeating, facts should be ascertained and one-sidedness needs to be avoided.
