瞿秋白的个性观大致可以分为三个阶段：早期个性至上论;中期个性的工具论;后期重估个性的价值,其分别与新文化运动、五四运动及大革命失败前后联系在一起,其中第一阶段具有时代的共性,而后两个阶段,以其＂历史的工具＂到＂历史的误会＂的独特转变,则体现了瞿秋白比较独特的个性观变化。反思瞿秋白的思想变化和悲壮人生,对于个性和社会关系的处理乃至和谐社会的创建,都有极重要的意义。

Qu Qiubai＇ s personality view can be roughly divided into three stages： the early stage of personality supremacy, the middle stage of personality as instrument, and reevaluation of personality at the end. These three stages are respectively related to New Culture Movement, May Fourth Movement and the Great Revolution. The first stage had the common characteristics of the time while the latter two embodied his peculiar personality view with the change from ＂historical instrument＂ to ＂historical misunderstanding＂. Reflecting over his ideological change and his great solemn great life is positive for the management of the relationship between personality and society and for the construction of harmonious society.
