Although the legislation about the standard of the prosecution evidence in western countries may be of referential value to China, it should not be copied mechanically. A review of the argument over the tight or loose standards of the prosecution evidence and an analysis of the relevant discussions and practices suggest that Chi- na is expected to adhere to the conformity of the standard of prosecution evidence with the standard of proof of guilt. Meanwhile, considering the precision in expression, revisions are necessary in terms of Chinas standards of the prosecution evidence.
