以《心理学公报》、《心理学评论》和《心理学年度评论》三种心理学国际权威学术期刊从2005年到2009年发表的论文为基础，从研究领域、研究主题、引用率等方面对西方心理学的研究进行了文献计量分析。揭示了西方心理学的发展趋势和研究热点，指出基础／实验心理、社会心理和健康心理领域的研究是西方心理学研究的主流，但研究方法、技术发生了根本改变；认知、学习与记忆、决策与判断、情绪健康等主题是西方心理学研究的热点。从四个方面探讨了我国心理学工作者可以借鉴的研究思路：加强研究方法和统计的训练，关注研究的本土化，进行跨学科、多层次整合的研究以及拓展研究主题。

During the last 5 years, major advances have been made in psychological research. This article exarnineds the trends on the basis of the theses carried by 3 widely recognized psychological journals from 2005 to 2009： Annual Review ofPsychology（ARP）, Psychological Bulletin （PB）, and Psychological Review （PR）. For they publish articles which represent the entire field of psychology and are the most frequently cited of all psychology journals. A total of 491 articles during the 5-year period ranging from the research areas, research themes and citation rate were examined for statistical analysis, which reveals an international focus of psychological research and trends. We made use of bibliometrics and E~ （BSP, ASP）databases to classify each paper into a distinct topic area. Research were classified areas in accordance with the American Psychological Association （APA） journal catalog, which includes Basic/Experiment psychology, clinical psychology, developmental psychology, health psychology, industrial/organizational psychology, social psychology, evaluation, measurement and statistis. Research topics by the American Psychological Association （APA） and subject classification （APA have 43 topics, see http：//www, apa. org/） were used. Besides, we used key words.of journals and authors provide. Paper quote rates for EBSCO database （ASP, BSP） cited were also used. The results show the following trends over the past 5 years in psychological research：（a） basic/experimental psychology, social psychology and health psychology are still the popular subjects, respectively 45.62%, 16.29% and 15.27%. These three areas account for 77.18% of the total, but the much research methods and techn!ciue h~ve changed. （b） Cognition, learning ＆ memory, decision making and emotional popnplarly are hotly researched, respectively 18.94 %, 17.51%, 8 %, and 5.1%. （c） Meta-analysis articles are cited . Cognition, memory, learning articles have higher citation rate. Research on new themes are cited more. Research studied by European and American scholars receive more citation. This paper gives a geneal view of the developmental trends and research orientations of some important domains in psychological science. Based on these trends, this paper makes some suggestions for Chinese researchers in psychological studies. （a） Research methods and statistical techniques need to be enhanced . Western psychological researchers in some quantitative research on measurement levels, measurement models, latent variable models to predict the direction of models with breakthrough development. In contrast, our psychological researchers make less use of complex statistical techniques and models. （b） Localization research was the bottlenecks of Chinese psychological research. （c） A cross-disciplinary and multi-level integration approach should be adopted. Multi- level integration is characteristic of western psychology. Therefore, cross-disciplinary, multi-level integration is the future research direction for Chinese researchers. （d） Western psychological research has diversified topics, such as culture, addictions, eating disorders, substance abuse, date analysis, and workplace issues. Few of our psychologcal researchers study these topics.
