创业型大学以创业人才培养为基本任务，注重开展具有商用价值的科研活动，积极创办衍生高新科技企业，并将“促进经济和社会发展”拓展为大学的新职能。本文在区分了两种不同的创业型大学研究路径的基础上，对创业型大学的概念内涵进行界定，探讨了创业型大学的不同发展阶段，最后提出了当前我国大学创建创业型大学的对策建议。

The Entrepreneurial University expands the function of university by combined economic and social development. The new characteristics of Entrepreneurial University can be Summarized as educate the students with entrepreneurship, carry out the research activities with commercial value and create the high-tech enterprises in a spin-off way. This paper discusses the differences between two approaches of research, and examines the concept of entrepreneurial university. Secondly, the paper divides the development of entrepreneurial university into three stages, such as Changing University, Innovation University and Entrepreneurial University. Finally, the paper discusses the strategies that should be carried out by the China higher education system.
