实事求是是我们党的优良传统,更是克敌制胜的一项重要法宝。中国共产党就是坚持了实事求是这一基本原则,取得了新民主主义革命的胜利和社会主义建设的伟大成就。新时期,坚持实事求是这一根本原则,不仅是全面实现小康社会的根本保证,而且对于加强和创新党的建设伟大工程,保持党的先进性,都具有深远意义。

Seeking truth from facts is a great tradition of the Party;it is an important magic weapon for defeating the enemy.Early in the new democratic revolution and in the early days of New China,the Chinese Communist Party made great achievements in the new-democratic revolution as well as in the socialist consturction by adhering to the basic principle of seeking truth from facts.In the new era,adhering to the fundamental principle of seeking truth from facts not only serves as the fundamental guarantee for the realization of building moderately prosperous society,but also proves significant to promo-ting and innovating the building of the Party and keeping our Party progressive,innovative and forward-thinking.
