亚洲太平洋经济合作组织（APEC）自1989年成立以来取得了长足的发展，在推动贸易投资自由化和经济技术合作方面发挥了巨大作用，但近年来随着贸易自由化进程缓慢以及国际形势变化，各成员对其未来发展方向产生了一定分歧。本文分析了亚太自由贸易区的优势和面临的种种问题，认为其建设尤其是对中国的区域经济合作战略选择的影响，仍然存在很大的不确定性。

Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation （APEC） had made great progress since 1989, and played a huge role in promoting trade and investment liberalization and economic and technical cooperation. The slow process of APEC trade liberalization in recent years and the changing international situation makes Highlight its inherent flaws, its members had some differences in the future direction. 2010 Eighteenth APEC informal leadership meeting continue to promote regional economic integration process, effectively promote the Asia-Pacific Free Trade Area （FTAAP） building. APEC future development path seems to have a more clear direction, but the feasible of FTAAP and impact on China＇s regional economic cooperation still remain great uncertainty.
