着眼于高校田径课程教学改革，运用实验法对定向越野在体育院校田径专选课程中应用的可行性进行了研究，结果表明：田径专选课中适当加入定向越野等教学训练内容不会对学生的专项成绩产生消极影响，而且会有一定的促进作用；这种积极作用广泛体现在不同基础的学生身上，对男生、女生的成绩提高具有相同的促进作用；定向越野等教学训练内容可以有效调节训练的单调性。最后，根据研究结论提出了在田径专选课中增加田径类项目内容的教学改革建议。

This paper, focused on the track and field curriculum＇ s teaching reform in sport colleges, used experimentation to study the application of cross - country orienteering in the sport colleges＇ track and field curriculum education. We had some country orienteering has a certain degree of promotion ability. Whether they are boys or girls, the promotion conclusions： Proper training time of cross - rather than negative effect to student~ specific widely displayed the college students with different specific ability. Cross -country orienteering can effectively regulate the monotony of training. Based on the conclusions, we proposed that the sports college＇ s track and field curriculum should add the teaching content of cross - country orienteering.
