中日两国文化艺术交流的历史源远流长,在这绵延的历史长河里,中国绘画一次次波及日本,使日本绘画从佛绘、唐绘、大和绘、汉画、障壁绘、浮世绘到日本画的演变和发展一直受到中国绘画的深刻影响。同时,在吸收中国绘画以及西方绘画基础上形成的极具日本民族特点的日本绘画,也随中日文化艺术的交流在中国得以传播,并给中国绘画的理论、技法、创作、教育等多方面的发展、转型、研究带来了不少启迪,为中国绘画艺术输入了诸多营养。
