This paper first discusses the situation and development tendency of regional digital library. Then combing the advantages and characteristics of cloud computing and the analysis of the similarities of the two, it puts forward the sharing platform model for regional digital library based on the concept of cloud computing so as to share its resources and services over cloud to reach facilities sharing, resources sharing, services sharing, and finally a result of win - win situation.
