Schema theory has a guiding significance to the teaching of English business newspaper and periodical reading. Background is one of important factors affecting English business newspaper and periodical reading comprehension. Therefore, in the English business newspaper and periodical reading teaching, teachers should broaden students＇ background quickly and efficiently on the basis of Schema theory so that students＇ English business newspaper and periodical reading ability can be improved.
