大圩是明清时期广西四大圩镇之一，其商民祭祀活动主要集中在关帝庙、汉高祖庙等寺庙，并且由于这些信仰的普遍认同性，进而在大圩及其周边村落形成了一个共有的“祭祀圈”。外省商人及本地“坐贾”在大圩开展商业活动，更多的是依赖中国传统社会的“熟人网络”，而民间信仰在这种网络的构建中起了很大的作用，且一定程度上规范了地方商业活动的秩序。桂北商业圩镇的民间信仰发展，主要由商人、地方士绅与移民等三种主要力量来推动。
대우시명청시기엄서사대우진지일，기상민제사활동주요집중재관제묘、한고조묘등사묘，병차유우저사신앙적보편인동성，진이재대우급기주변촌락형성료일개공유적“제사권”。외성상인급본지“좌가”재대우개전상업활동，경다적시의뢰중국전통사회적“숙인망락”，이민간신앙재저충망락적구건중기료흔대적작용，차일정정도상규범료지방상업활동적질서。계북상업우진적민간신앙발전，주요유상인、지방사신여이민등삼충주요역량래추동。
Daxu was one of the four biggest trading centres of Guangxi in the Ming and Qing Dynas- ties. In this town, the merchants and the common people＇ sacrificial activities mainly concentrated in the Temple of Guan Yu and Temple of Han fitst Emperor and so on, while because these beliefs had common i- dentity, a mutual Sacrifice Circle was formed in Daxu and its surrounding villages. Both the merchants from other provinces and the local retailers who carried on business activities in Daxu mainly dependecl on the Chinese traditional ~~~ciety＇ s acquaintances network, in which the folk beliefs played a very significant role, at the same time the folk beliefs regulated the order of the local commercial activities to a certain extent. In the commercial town and its＇ surrounding villages of south of the Five Ridges, the three main forces which promoted the development of the Folk Beliefs are mainly businessmen, local gentlement and immigrant.
