新时期需要新型人才,新型人才需要新型教师的培养,新型教师要有新的教育理念。文章结合新疆少数民族双语教学实际,借鉴近年来语言学理论和双语教学研究的最新成果,认为双语教师的新型角色应该是:双语双文化人、和谐师生关系的创建者、双语教学活动的策划者和引导者、双语教学的研究者,并对如何重塑双语教师的新型角色进行了初步探讨。同时认为这种探讨有益于少数民族双语人才的培养,有利于促进双语教学的发展。

New time calls for new-typed talents who are cultivated by new-typed teachers with new education ideas.Based on bilingual teaching for ethnic minorities in Xinjiang and recent studies on linguistic theories and bilingual teaching,this paper points out that the new role of bilingual teachers should be bilingual and bicultural teachers who are the builders of harmonious relation between teachers and students,designers and instructors of bilingual teaching activities,and researchers of bilingual teaching.It also discusses how to recreate the new role of bilingual teachers to order to enhance cultivation of ethnic minority bilingual talents and development of bilingual teaching in Xinjiang.
