Deng Xiaoping＇ s South China Speech cleared the way for China＇ s further development and input new dynamism into the process, which was also a turning point from ＂reform first＂ to ＂opening first＂ . This is a speech still guiding China＇ s development after two decades up to now. Rereading his speech we have to adhere to the reform and opening policies and go forwards toward mutual prosperity.
