山西临猗方言中，通摄有五个常用字“蠓、魉、拱、嵩、咙”还保留着白读音u（端系读ou），同遇摄合口一等。这种白读很可能是宋代西北方音的遗留。
山西臨猗方言中，通攝有五箇常用字“蠓、魎、拱、嵩、嚨”還保留著白讀音u（耑繫讀ou），同遇攝閤口一等。這種白讀很可能是宋代西北方音的遺留。
산서림의방언중，통섭유오개상용자“몽、량、공、숭、롱”환보류착백독음u（단계독ou），동우섭합구일등。저충백독흔가능시송대서북방음적유류。
The vowel of five colloquial words of MC tong group in Linyi dialect, Shanxi province are [u], whereas the occasion for the ancient jian 见 initials is [ou], which is the same as that of MC yu 通 group. The paper argues that such colloquial pronunciations may be an MC remnant of the northwest dialects in Song Dynasty.
