This article summarizes and analyzes the basic principle for the design of urban street furniture. Except for the principle of visual influence, this article lists three principles, that is, economy principle, functional principle, and ecological principle. It points out that only to systematically analyze and grasp the three principles can we scientifically work out excellent modern urban street furniture.
