《尚书》是我国古代一部极其重要的典籍，学术界长期以来对《尚书》的属性研究大多归为“上古史说”、“古代散文”、“应用文说”，对《尚书》公文文体没有正确的认识。《尚书》虽处于我国古代公文发展的萌芽阶段，但这些公文也初步具备了一定的格式规范。作为“七经之首”的《尚书》，表达了古代统治者的政治思想和治国方略，对后世的中国公文文体及行文风格产生了深远的影响。认识《尚书》的公文特色，有助于纠正学界一些不正确的观念，并为现代公文的理论研究就写作实践提供借鉴。

The Book of History （Shang Shu） is a very important classic of ancient China. Over the years, the academia has attributed the property of The Book of History to ＂an ancient historical book＂, ＂ancient essay＂, or ＂practical writing＂, without properly realizing its style of official document. Although The Book of History was composed at the budding time of the ancient official document, those documents had already possessed the initial formats and patterns. Ranking at the beginning of the seven ancient classics, The Book of History has exerted deep influence on the writing style of the ancient official documents of the later generations, and expressed the ancient rulers＇ political ideas and governing strategies. To know the features of its official document, it is helpful to revise some incorrect ideas of the academia, and offer references to the theories of modern document for writing practice.
