在问卷和访谈的基础上,对广西的大学英语教师行动研究现状进行了分析。认为行动研究在广西的大学英语教师的教学中没有得到足够重视,多数教师对行动研究不理解或实践力较差。基于此,应创造一个良好的激励机制和学术平台,逐步培育教师们行动研究的主动性和能力。

Based on questionnaires and interviews, this paper makes an a- nalysis of the status quo of action research conducted by teachers of college Eng- lish in Guangxi. It＇s argued that action research has not gained enough attention from the teachers in Guangxi and most of them do not have a clear understanding of action research or cannot put it into practice. In view of this. an incentive mechanism and academic platform should be established to foster the teachers＇ enthusiasm and ability to do action research.
