曾国藩作为近代思想史、学术史研究无法避开的人物，一生笃信理学，被学界称为晚清理学巨擘。他对天人关系的理解，既承袭前贤，又不乏己见，诸如天意难测、天人征应、代天主张、无故怨天、天罚昭昭、顺天为贵等认识的最终形成，无一不是本人践行理学、体躬心悟所得，尤其是批判常理测天的核心态度值得深入探讨。

Zeng Guofan, who was an unavoidable research man in modem ideological and academic history believed natural science all his life, and was regarded as a Princo of late Qing dynasty. His understanding about relationship between heaven and man was not only based on the former scholars, but also from his own views. For example, the conclusion of these following understanding held the same principle practicing the natural science and experiencing the theories with hearts： the hard guess to God＇s will; the reaction between nature and man; the assertion on behalf of the heaven; the complaint to the God without reasons; the clear punishment about the heaven; the compliance to the heaven, etc. His core attitude about criticism on measuring the heaven was worthy of being discussed as well.
