精神的缺失或去魅是当代社会迫切需要解决的重大问题。美学作为追求审美价值的学科与精神密不可分,呼唤精神的回归成为当代美学责无旁贷的历史使命。因为精神的内涵中包孕了美学的意蕴,美学追求的理性、自由、主体性等价值只有建立在精神的基础上才具有合理性。而美学在历史上曾经充满精神,当代个人主义的膨胀导致精神的异化;个人主义悖离了实体信仰,导致了美学的价值异化;当代审美实践中个人主义的盛行,国家、民族等实体信仰面临着解构的危险,决定了美学的历史发展、理论建构以及审美实践三个方面精神回归的迫切性。

The lack of spirit or the disenchantment is the significant problem which must be resolved urgently in contemporary society.As the discipline of pursuing the aesthetic value,aesthetics is inseparable with spirit.Calling for the return of spirit becomes a obligated historical mission for the modern aesthetics.For the connotation of the spirit contains the implication of aesthetics,so only based on the spirit,the rationality,freedom and subjectivity which aesthetics pursuits can then have the rationality.Although the aesthetics was full of spirit in the history,the spirit is alienated by the modern individualism;However the individualism has deviated from the entity belief,which leads to value alienation of aesthetics;The individualism is prevalent in the modern aesthetic practice,and the state,nation and other entity belief are confronted with the danger of deconstruction,which determines the urgency of spiritual return of aesthetics in the respects of historical development,theoretical construction and aesthetic practice.
