清朝乾嘉时期,是新疆地方志发展的高峰。《内府舆图》《西域图志》等官修和《西域闻见录》《西陲要略》等私人纂修志书,是这一时期的代表作。该时期舆地学的发展尽管存在一些不足,但在新疆地方志发展史上占有重要的地位,不仅为道光、咸丰时期史地学的繁荣积累了知识基础,而且为以后的新疆研究保留了许多珍贵的历史资料。
청조건가시기,시신강지방지발전적고봉。《내부여도》《서역도지》등관수화《서역문견록》《서수요략》등사인찬수지서,시저일시기적대표작。해시기여지학적발전진관존재일사불족,단재신강지방지발전사상점유중요적지위,불부위도광、함봉시기사지학적번영적루료지식기출,이차위이후적신강연구보류료허다진귀적역사자료。
During Qianlong and Jiaqing period in the Qing Dynasty,the development of local history in Xinjiang reached its peak.Officials books of Neifuyutu and Local Maps of Western Regions and private books of Wenjianlu of official within the government map ＂Western Regions with Maps＂ and Western Wenjanlu Western Regions and Xichuiyaolue were masterpieces at this time.Though geographical research in this period had some deficiencies and shortcomings,it had an important status in local chronicle in Xinjiang.It not only accumulated knowledge basis for the prosperity of history and geography between1820 and 1860 period,but also provide much valuable historical information for future Xinjiang study.
