Regional economic cooperation increasingly becomes an important force to achieve the competitive advantage for local government and to promote regional economic development as the competition intensifies.However,the lack of interest sharing and compensation mechanism of regional economic cooperation will directly affect China＇s regional economic cooperation and its integration process. Interest sharing and compensation mechanism that acts as the institutional arrangement for different local governments to balance and coordinate the interest relation in the process of regional economic cooperation is a kind of effective way that breaks the current system bottlenecks and promotes regional economic cooperation.
