Both the diversified demands and heavy loads during the peak time are the current situation generally faced with by the institutes who supply the service.Fortunately,the information retrieval platform either open accessed or controlled in site and many kinds of reference manage tools which greatly facilitate the novelty search process are going perfect gradually.Many features of the function supplied by these tools need to be explored and summarized during the whole process.This paper will give some introductions and suggestions from the practical point of view on how to use these features available to improve the quality and efficiency of the novelty search.
