死亡如幽灵一样徘徊在人类身边，引起了古今中外众多哲人的思考。儒家创始人孔子的死亡．观内容极其丰富。在孔子看来，死亡既具有必然性，又具有偶然性。死亡可悲并且可恶。当生命与仁德发生矛盾时人们要选择杀身成仁。在鬼神观上，他怀疑鬼神有知觉。他重视丧葬祭祀等死亡仪式，主张进行丧葬祭祀时要依礼而行。

Death is like a ghost strolling around the living that draws numerous philosophical concerns. The rich Confucian idea of the death is well worth mentioning. It is both necessary and accidental, both distressful and disgusting. When life confronts with moral, one chooses to sacrifice his life, for he is conscious of ghost. He attaches importance to the death ceremony such as funeral and sacrifice, which are held according to ceremony. Therefore, the Confucian concept of the death is significant for developing sense of social responsibility, ridding of fear and anxiety, and improving the moral standard.
