基于调查无回答类型与影响因素的理论框架,本文利用三项通过计算机辅助电话访问系统实施的台湾民意调查的数据集,对其中单元无回答和项目无回答的影响因素进行了考察。对调查样本进行分类对比分析的结果表明,对于访员在电话拨通后因征寻接听者参与调查失败而导致的拒访和单元无回答,访员的性别、年级、语言及语音等特征都具有显著的影响,但部分影响模式尚待进一步确认;对于受访者因拒答部分调查问题乃至中途退出而导致的项目无回答,调查问题的类型、受访者的性别、年龄、受教育水平、工作状态与所在行业、政党倾向及所在地区等特征,也都具有明显的影响模式。

Based on a theoretical framework on the survey of the non-response types and determinants, the paper conducts an investigation into the unit non-response and item non-response in Taiwan public opinion polls by using the data obtained through a computer-assisted telephone interview program. The survey samples have been categorized and compared in terms of characteristics of interviewers and respondents. The result indicates that the interviewers＇ characteristics, such as gender, age, language, and voice quality are, to some extent, the main factors that lead to the refusal of interviewing and unit non-response in the early introduction stage, even though some influencing modes are still ambiguous and unconfirmed. The result also demon- strates that some other determinants that cause the failure of interviewing could be found in the contents and types of questions and the characteristics of respondents,such as gender,age,education,job,party preference, and residence area.
