在现代化和全球化背景下，少数民族语言的保护和发展是一项复杂的社会工程。发达国家在保护少数民族语言方面起步较早，本文梳理国外少数民族语言保护和发展现状，汲取少数民族语言保护的经验和教训，为保护我国少数民族语言提供借鉴。

Under the background of modernization and globalization, the protection and development of the ethnic minorities＇ languages have become a complicated social work. The developed countries are relatively earlier in the protection of minority languages, so we must consider their current situation of protecting and developing ethnic minorities＇ languages, learn from their experiences, and take them as good examples in the protection of ethnic minorities＇ languages in China.
