巴哼人是广西瑶族众多支系中的一支,有着自己独特的语言、信仰和歌唱文化。＂伊萨＂是巴哼人对＂唱歌＂的表达,其内涵包括了巴哼瑶歌和侗歌。在生活中,这两种不同语言的民歌被演唱于不同的场合,其内容也有所区别。但是它们在巴哼族群的文化体系中却共同承担着文化、族群和家庭延续的作用。

The Baheng people,one of the many branches of the Yao Ethnic Minority in Guangxi,have their own language,belief and singing culture.Yisa,a name for singing,includes the Yao and Dong songs sung among the Baheng people.The folk songs that were originated from two different ethnic groups,although sung on different occasions and by different contents,both play a role in maintaining the continuity of their culture,ethnicity and family relations.
