Multimedia technology development makes the human discourse become varied. They involved a variety of modal, so multimodal discourse analysis becomes necessary for discourse analysis. In recent years, all kinds of English tests contained modal discourse forms. This paper, focusing on the component part of multimodal discourse analysis ability, states the importance of un- dergraduate＇s multimodal discourse analysis ability training. It also gives training strategies of multimodal discourse analysis ability.
