The paper describes the way of professional development of science simulations, which are developed by the PhET project of the University of Colorado. Based on the analysis of the project team, development process, design features of simulations and the educational researches, we refine the characteristics of PhET simulations development which emphasize on the interactive design based on the application in the practices. It is hoped to shed light on the relevant studies.
