第三方支付是在电子商务迅速发展的背景下，为解决网上交易中的信用与安全问题，应运而生的。电子商务应用越广泛，对网上交易的安全要求也就越高，第三方支付的出现解决了商家与消费者的不信任，作为商家和消费者之间的中介，作为交易各方与银行之间的接口，这个新兴行业面对着各种机遇与挑战。本文在介绍第三方支付发展现状的基础上，以我国现在主要的第三方支付平台为例，提出了第三方支付存在的问题及其解决对策，并对其广阔发展前景进行了展望。
