本研究对比分析了2012年台湾地区领导人选举中国民党和民进党的竞选广告策略,基于243则竞选广告的研究发现,候选人策略基本遵循现代竞选广告传播的一般规律,同时呈现下述特点:在议题讨论上,马阵营广告主要呈现政治议题,而蔡阵营重点讨论社会议题;在形象塑造上,两党都强调以清廉为主的候选人人格特质;候选人对负面攻击性广告的使用谨慎,且以感性诉求为主,政党色彩有所弱化。研究结合台湾选举历史和环境对结果进行了讨论。

This paper tries to make a comparative analysis of the campaign advertising strategies by Kuomintang and the Democratic Progressive Party in Taiwan, based on content analysis of 243 advertisements in 2012 leader election in Taiwan. The results show that advertising strategies in this election basically follow the general laws of modern political advertising. The in- cumbent Kuomintang candidate discusses issues on politics most while the challenger talks mainly about issues on society. Both Parties all attach importance to the candidates' personality and are prudent in using negative advertisement. They appeal mostly to emotion and weaken political Party's coloring. The paper also makes a careful discussion on the election history and environ- ment in Taiwan.
