受“考什么、教什么”思维定势的影响,基础教育英语教学出现过度教育现象,标准化试题泛滥成灾,标准化训练大行其道,这种教学行为抑制了有效的语言习得,降低了积极的学习情感,遏制了学习者语言创新思维能力。标准化训练缺乏学理的依据,它与语言环境论、基于使用的语言习得理论和情感教育论背道而驰。以阅读为导向,改造标准化试题形态,少做题多阅读,可以改变“读而不思”的习惯;以思维为导向、改革阅读教学,开展文学阅读,能够促进学生由单一的浅层阅读转向“阅读一思维一表达”立体综合的深层阅读,达到增强英语语感、优化思维品质、实现创意表达之目的。

Under the influence of the "teaching to the test" thinking set, the phenomenon of excessive education is advent in English teaching for basic education, that is, the standardized test items are abused and the standardized-test oriented practice prevails, which lead to restraining effective language acquisition, lowering positive learning affects and even smothering learners' language creative thinking ability. The standardized-test oriented practice is short of theoretical basis of learning and goes against the theory of language environment, the usage-based theory of language acquisition and the emotion education theory. To improve reading, we can modify the standardized test formats and make students do fewer exams and more reading to change the habit of "reading without thinking". To develop thinking, we can reform reading teaching and carry out the literature reading to help students change from single surface reading to deep reading with stereo integration of "reading, thinking and expressing", so as to enhance the English language awareness, optimize the thinking quality and achieve the creative expression.
