生物统计学是探讨如何从事生物学实验研究的设计、取样、分析、资料整理与推论的科学。生物统计学课程侧重介绍实验的设计,数据的收集和分析,得出实验结果和结论,是一门应用性很强的课程。本文从生物统计学课程的基本特点和要求出发,在教学内容、教学方法、教学目标和课程考核形式方面进行教学改革。不断提高教学水平,培养学生的应用能力,提高生物统计学在本课程及其它教学活动中应用的实效性。

Biostatistics is to explore how to engage in experiment design, sampling, data collection and analysis, and deduction. Biostatistics is a strong applied course, in which it is emphasis on experiment design, data collection and analysis, conclude the experimental rsults, and draw conslusions of the ex- periment. To improve the teaching level and cultivate the students＂ ability, we do some teaching re- forms in aspects of teaching content, method, goal, and course examination form from the basic charac- terictics and requiremnets of biostatistics. Thus, improve the effectiveness aoolication of the biostatis- tics and other teaching activities of the course.
