生态人类学在中国已经走过了30多年。然而，其时间跨度大致与中国的改革开放相近，但其本土化的进程和被国人所接受的事实却远远滞后于改革开放。为此，本文力图揭示生态人类学在中国的发展过程中，所遭逢过的困难与曲折。以及今后我们如何克服各种障碍，为中国生态人类学赢得发展空间，更进一步推动生态人类学在中国的本土化，建构具有中国特色的生态人类学。使其在治理中国，乃至世界的生态问题上提供新的理论指导、资料储备和方法借鉴。

It took more than 30 years for eco-anthropology to be introduced and accepted gradually. The time span is approximately close to the reformation and opening in China, however, the process of its localization and acceptance by Chinese far lags behind the reformation and opening. After industrial revolution, with the development of human society, ecological problems have appeared herewith. In the mid-late 20th century, those problems tend to be more serious, and in the 21st century, ecological problems have been the great subject which human beings have to face and deal with. The scientific mission of eco- anthropology is devoted to the coupling relationship between human beings and environment; moreover, it puts forward some original ideas and management strategies. However, eco-anthropology has not obtained a fair treatment in China. Even if it has great energy, it can＇t play its role in Chinese ecological problems. In order to receive people＇s considerable attention, this paper tries to reveal the difficulties that eco-anthropology has faced in the process of introduction to China, and how we overcome various barriers in order to gain the space of development and further promote the localization of eco-anthropology in China. Meanwhile, the paper illustrates how to construct eco-anthropology in Chinese flavor so that it can offer worthwhile theoretical guidance, data reservation and methods reference for ecological problems in China even in the world.
