西江流域是一个多民族文化的语言富矿地带,以语言种类众多而扬名。壮、汉、苗、瑶、侗之外,尚有许多人口较少但文化特色鲜明的少数民族。这些风俗各异的民族共同生活在西江流域上,创造了光彩灿烂的历史文化。探讨这个区域的语言分布状况,了解各群体的历史渊源与文化构成,对构建和谐社会很有帮助。

서강류역시일개다민족문화적어언부광지대,이어언충류음다이양명。장、한、묘、요、동지외,상유허다인구교소단문화특색선명적소수민족。저사풍속각이적민족공동생활재서강류역상,창조료광채찬란적역사문화。탐토저개구역적어언분포상황,료해각군체적역사연원여문화구성,대구건화해사회흔유방조。
The area along the Xijiang River is one known for the multitude of ethnic languages and diversity of ethnic cultures.Apart from the Zhuang,Han,Miao,Yao and Dong Ethnic Groups,there are also some ethnic groups with smaller population size but distinctive ethnic cultures.All these groups with different customs come together to create the glorious history and culture in the Xijiang River area.For this reason,a discussion of the distribution of languages in this area and a study of the historical origins and cultural composition of each ethnic group are conducive to the building of a harmonious society.
