我国研究生暑期学校始于1983年,其发展可分为起步、探索、发展和深化四个阶段,每个阶段都具有自身特点和标志性事件,呈现出覆盖学科领域不断拓展、多层次办学体系正在构建、优势学科品牌效应日益凸显以及国际化办学理念不断强化的特点和趋势。要办好研究生暑期学校,主题选定要依托优势学科,贴近社会发展需要;教师遴选应彰显国际化,充分利用海外校友资源;学员选拔要加强宣传,实行单位推荐和专家遴选相结合;教学安排要以学生为中心,注重激发创新思维;组织保障要依靠专业团队,提供规范化服务。

The development of postgraduate summer school in our country since 1983 may be characterized by four stages:inception, exploration, evolvement and enhancement, each stage noted for its remarkable features and events: continuous expansion of fields of study, schools at multiple levels, emergence of brand names of strong programs, and international collaborations. In order to run a successful summer school, the following should be done., highlight strong academic programs, meet the needs of social development, recruit teachers from different countries, utilize resources from overseas alumni, enroll well-recommended students, offer studenttcentered teaching to stimulate innovative thinking, and ensure professionally provided service and support.
