通过对相关文献检索和对自建语料库分析发现,国内部分学者在模糊限制语研究中存在以下误区：1）将模糊限制语与模糊语言混为一谈;2）将模糊限制语与语用含糊关系简单化;3）将模糊限制语与准确性、真实性对立化。我们认为：1）模糊限制语是一种对模糊语言进行修饰、加工的元语言;2）虽然模糊限制语有助于实施语用含糊,但在更多情形下它使话语准确化;3）模糊限制语的使用反映人们对准确性和真实性的刻意追求。

Based on literature review and data analysis,this paper has found that there exist three misconceptions in the research on hedges： 1） confusion in the relationship between hedges and fuzzy language;2） oversimplification of the relationship between hedges and pragmatic vagueness;3） mutual exclusion of hedges and preciseness.It is argued that 1） hedges,as a type of meta-language,are used to modify and process fuzzy language;2） although hedges can be used to realize pragmatic vagueness,they are principally linguistic manifestations of speakers’ meta-pragmatic awareness for the efficiency of communication;3） hedges are mainly employed to approximate the objective world,with a view to representing preciseness and truthfulness to the highest degree.
